The Vehicle Lightweight Arresting Device Single Net Solution with Remote Deployment Device is designed to stop a vehicle. This technology has the potential to support multiple missions including:

The Single Net Solution is a pre-emplaced, man-portable, rapidly deployed net equipped with a unique barbed spike system. It is designed to capture larger vehicles than the currently fielded M2 Vehicle Lightweight Arresting Device Net captures. It is capable of entanglement of front tires to stop heavier and faster vehicles. The Remote Deployment Device is an electromechanical system capable of pulling the M2 Vehicle Lightweight Arresting Device or Single Net Solution across a road. The Vehicle Lightweight Arresting Device Single Net Solution is a self contained device having a onetime use, but the Remote Deployment Device is reusable.
