Spc. Emilio Montor, 14th Brigade Engineer Battalion, Rugged Team 5, from Visalia, California, speaks on his experiences being in the Army and doing his part in helping suppress the August Complex wildfire in his home state. Soldiers with the 14th BEB deployed to Northern California at the request of the National Interagency Fire Center in support of the Department of Defense’s wildland firefighting response operations where they work side-by-side with professional wildland firefighters.
