Warriors from the 2017 Army Reserve Best Warrior Competition qualify on U.S. service weapons such as the M9 pistol, M4 carbine, and the M249 Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW). Qualifying on U.S. service weapons is essential to warriors in order to maintain the proficiency and lethality of U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers.
