Fort Hunter Liggett Public Affairs Office
July 22, 2018 | 2:58
The Combat Support Training Exercise 91-18-01 at Fort Hunter Liggett, California during July 2018 brings various support units from across the country (and from other countries as well) to work together on various scenarios. Media were invited to observe an exercise with U.S. forces breaching an enemy encampment (role-played by an active duty unit from Joint Base Lewis-McChord) using combat engineers to fill an anti-vehicle ditch and deploy an M60 Armored Vehicle-Launched Bridge, July 22. The exercise also included Global Medic participants to treat "casualties." Brig. Gen. Shane Buzza, 91st Training Division commanding general, spoke to KCBX public radio's Tom Wilmer afterward (filmed by MSG Valerie Resciniti, 91st TD). Capt. Calvin Divinigracia of the 315th Engineer Brigade out of Camp Pendleton, California talked about participating in an exercise of this scope (filmed by Cindy McIntyre, FHL Public Affairs).
