Congressman Charlie Dent, Chairman to the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Military Construction and Veteran Affairs, conducted a visit to Rukla, Lithuania. The visit was part of an oversight of military partnership training, facilities, capabilities and equipment storage with allies in Poland and Lithuania. During his visit to Rukla, he received an in-brief from Capt. Matt Westcott, commander of the American
engineer team conducting operations within the Rukla training area to create a safe drop-zone for paratroopers, and from 1st Lt. Justin Rojek, the Operations Officer for Task Force Stilwell. TF Stilwell provides bulk fuel resupply, line-haul distribution and movement control support to rotational maneuver units throughout Operation Atlantic Resolve - North.
