Charlie Company completes only JRTC rotation National Guard wide

For the first time since their deployment to Afghanistan in 2010, Soldiers from C. Co. 3rd Battalion of the 172nd Infantry Regiment (Mountain) have joined their entire parent unit, the 86th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, for training. Here, at the Joint Readiness Training Center, in Fort Polk, Louisiana, they are part of a decisive action exercise, or large scale war-game, including approximately 4000 Soldiers and 21 states. Charlie Company is part of the only National Guard unit to complete a JRTC rotation in the country for the National Guard.
