Soldiers from 1st Armored Division participated in an assault in the Fort Bliss training area using a new peace of equipment, the drone defender. AWA identifies and assesses interim solutions to meet the Army warfighting challenges, by giving soldiers a chance to try out new equipment like the Drone Defender. AWA is the first in a series of Soldier-led assessments held in a rigorous and realistic operational environment at Fort Bliss, Texas.
