With General Dennis Via, Commanding General Army Material Command, and Major General Christopher C. Hughes, Commanding General US Army Cadet Command.

Today, ROTC will celebrate its Centennial Anniversary. Army ROTC has commissioned more than 600,000 second lieutenants over the last 100 years.
It has become the largest producer of officers in the U.S. Army, commissioning an average 5,300 second lieutenants each year. About 70 percent of the second lieutenants who join the active Army, the Army National Guard, and the Army Reserve are commissioned through ROTC.
