Germany - : John Nelson (right), senior international defense analyst supporting the Joint Non-Lethal Weapons Directorate (JNLWD), accepts the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Science and Technology Organization's prestigious 2017 Scientific Achievement Award. Dr. Thomas Killion (left), NATO's Chief Scientist and Chairman of the NATO Science and Technology Board (STB) presented the award during a ceremony in Berlin on Sept 20. Dr. Killion praised the detailed analysis of non-lethal weapons (NLW) operational contributions and identification of where NLW should be reflected in NATO and National concepts.
